Life Before CEC
My name is Stephanie Price, and I am a Colorado native. I was born in Denver, and I grew up with my little sister, Katy, in Littleton in the house that my wonderful parents still live in. I attended Columbine High School from 1999-2002. After surviving the infamous tragedy of the Columbine High School shooting as a freshman, my strong and patient teachers inspired me to become an educator. After my high school graduation in 2002, I moved on to Greeley, CO where I attended the University of Northern Colorado.
I became the first college graduate in my family when I graduated from UNC in May of 2006 with my B.A. in English and my secondary teaching license. Shortly after, I began my teaching career at Montbello High School in Denver, CO. I taught and learned at Montbello High School for five years, and I will always cherish the amazing memories and relationships I made as part of the Montbello community. During my time at MHS, I earned my M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Reading from Grand Canyon University. For the 2011-2012 school year, I made a fresh start at CEC Middle College of Denver. My first year at CEC was wonderful, and I hope to call CEC home for many years to come!
